Here is a little progress report and some photos and you are lucky to have it.
Shipped my first deposit to the California Milk Bank; Pete is glad to see space opening in that freezer! |
Photos had to be taken as soon as she woke up or there was no chance of getting anything but a blur. So these were taken two days late.
Berit is extremely busy from dawn to 9 pm -- yes, we know this is not a sustainable or responsible bedtime but it is summer so it is very light and we would never see her if she went to bed at 6:30. I feel guilty, but only a teensy bit.
Berit is twice the size of Wolfie |
And he cannot keep up with her! |
As you can see, she will not sit still... |
And prefers standing over everything |
Berit took her first trip to the vet -- Dr. Pitts thought she was a delight and a lucky little girl to have three German Shepherd dogs!
At the end of May she started inch-bug crawling.
She got tooth numbers 3 and 4 over a weekend -- they are little fangs since she had not gotten the middle teeth yet (yes, I'm giving away next month's update!)
She went to Grand Marais and stayed at GiGi's (with momma) for the first time. She visited with Brienne and Hiver too.
Two weeks after the inch bug crawling she started speed-crawling. It is almost as terrifying to her parents as speed-dating.
Within two days she started surfing the couch (better known as "cruising" by parents in the know) which quickly transitioned to surfing anything that appeared solid: the walls, the dogs, paper bag, swinging doors, giant balls that are usually in the mouths of the dogs...clearly our lives just got very exciting!
Ma, stop! |
